Everyone knows you just stick together every extension you can find into a horrible amalgamation that threatens to separate if you don’t handle it with extreme care.
Bonus points if they’re wobbly extensions and you use it to zig-zag your way into the engine bay.

Wobble extensions completely changed my life when I discovered them. Mostly for the worse.

You haven’t lived until your put together 18-inches of extensions with 2 u-joints and a Crows Foot at the end just so you can remove 1 bolt from a 97 Thunderbirds power steering pump.

I do this for the top 4-6 bolts on transmission bell housings every time. It’s perfect, especially when there are exhaust and drive shafts top deal with.

Using them with an impact driver is a bad idea.

Did this removing the gearbox from my Jag XJ40. I was lying on my back with about a foot of extensions leading to a UJ plus another 6" extension to another UJ to another 6" extension, both of which my dad was holding in place.
Surprise surprise, stripped the bolt...

100% yes.
You can reach everything fine, it just takes soooo long to walk around to the other side of the car...
Said as an XJ40 owner ;)
